When purchasing an item from our shop, customers will be asked to provide a range of personal information which may include for example, name, email address, postal address, phone number and / or other appropriate details to help us process the order.
HOW do we use the information we gather?
We use the personal information gathered for the specific purpose stated, i.e. to process orders from our online shop.
HOW do we protect personal information on our digital platforms and stored in physical files?
Personal information provided and stored digitally is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. Computers are password protected with password being changed regularly. Computers also have a ‘sleep’ mode in operation to add a further layer of protection.
Financial transactions associated with course application and payment forms are processed through a gateway provider using encryption via a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and no financial data pertaining to online payments are stored or processed on by Sacred Senses via its network / servers.
Appropriate filing, transfer, archiving and deletion procedures are in place to ensure that personal information is handle with care, sensitivity and by the appropriate members of staff. Procedures are reviewed on a regular basis and updated as and when required.
