Palo santo means holly wood and is a wild tree that grows in the Amazon rainforest of Ecuador and Peru. It belongs to the same family as copal, Mirra and Frankincense. The wood, leaves and oil have been used for thousands of years by indigenous shamans to heal the body and soul, purify spaces, eliminate negative energies and prepare for meditation.
